However, it is understanding, intelligence, resourcefulness, and intuition that make a veterinarian excel at helping cats and their owners.

Further, the best feline vets possess the ability to communicate to the pet owner the nature of their cat's illness so that an educated, balanced treatment plan can be instituted.

Jonathan Grant, DVM (Founder, Owner)

Dr. Jonathan Grant has been a visionary, intuitive, and balanced practitioner of veterinary medicine for more than 30 years. He graduated from the veterinary college at the prestigious University of Bologna in Italy. After interning at a specialty practice in New York, Dr. Grant set out to realize his dream of practicing veterinary medicine and surgery in a friendly, comfortable, stress-free environment. He successfully established two large mixed practices, and has finally realized his dream feline-only practice right here at the Scaredy Cat Hospital.

Angela Wood, DVM

Dr. Angela Wood was born and raised in Minnesota and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison school of Veterinary Medicine. Her interest in animals started at an early age, as she grew up on a farm and even worked as a vet assistant while in veterinary school. After graduating, she completed a one year emergency & critical care internship. She brings the clients of The Scaredy Cat Hospital the most up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of care and treatment.
